Deterrence
Visible security, well-kept houses and the feeling of being watched keep many offenders from even choosing a target. Anyone who looks like a difficult target is picked less often.
Most break-ins fail because of resistance and time. We show how mechanical security, electronic early detection and reliable alerting work together – and what really matters for homes, apartments and businesses.
Good burglary protection is not a single product but the interplay of three layers. Anyone who considers all three makes their home unattractive to intruders – and that is exactly the point. Burglars look for the easy, quiet target and abandon an attempt as soon as it takes too long or draws attention.

Mechanics cost time: mushroom-head locking points, lockable handles and sturdy fittings force the intruder into noise and effort – and after a few minutes without success, most give up.
Electronics close the gap: they detect the forced-entry attempt, make it audible and report it instantly. A silent break-in becomes a risky, noisy event.
Mechanical and electronic burglary protection solve different tasks – and neither technology replaces the other. The mechanics on windows and doors create resistance and cost valuable time. Alarm technology cannot stop someone from prying, but it detects exactly that and reports it before any damage is done.
The biggest difference between a good and a very good alarm system is the moment it triggers. Conventional detectors often react only once the pane is already shattered or someone is walking through the room. Our patented infrasound sensor technology Triometik picks up the inaudible pressure waves created during prying – and sounds the alarm before the intruder is inside.
In doing so, the entire building becomes the sensor: you do not need a detector on every single window, and because no motion detector is required in the living space, the system stays pet-friendly.
How the infrasound alarm system works Triometik technology in detail
Break-in detected – before entry
Detection is only useful if the alert actually reaches you. That is why SchutzAktiv Exklusiv does not rely on Wi-Fi, a router or an app, but on a built-in GSM module. In the event of an alarm, the panel calls all stored contacts one after another and additionally sends an SMS – self-reliantly over the mobile network.
A phone call wakes you even at night – a quiet push notification is easily lost in everyday life. The panel keeps calling until someone is reached.
No Wi-Fi, no router, no internet required. Even if an intruder cuts the power or the line, the alert chain stays intact over its own radio path.
Whether at the office, on holiday or on the move: the alert reaches you wherever your phone has reception – without you having to keep an app open.
Every building has its own weak points. A detached house offers different angles of attack than an apartment in a multi-family building, and a commercial property has entirely different requirements for access and operations. The basic idea stays the same everywhere – we tailor the implementation to your property.
Detached houses have many access points – patio doors, basement windows, side entrances. The building envelope is monitored as a whole, with no blind spots.
Alarm system for the houseIn an apartment, what counts is quiet, fast installation without drilling and a system that does not disturb children or pets. Wireless technology makes that possible without any construction work.
A solution for living & familyWorkshops, offices and warehouses need protection outside business hours too – including fire and water detection for expensive equipment and stock.
Burglary protection for businessesThe figures show that burglary affects many households and does not just cause material damage. The feeling that someone was inside your own home is a lasting burden in particular. Prevention is therefore worthwhile for everyone – not only after the first incident.
Not all protection costs money. Much of it is a matter of habit – and even small changes noticeably lower the risk. You can put these points into practice before you even think about technology.
There is no single best burglary protection – what works is always the combination. Mechanical security such as mushroom-head locking pins and lockable handles costs the intruder time, while an alarm system detects the attempt and triggers a response. Mechanics alone only delay; electronics alone do not stop someone from prying open a window. Together they deter most strongly and adapt to your particular property.
Most break-ins are abandoned once the intruder has to reckon with resistance and attention. An alarm system raises exactly that risk: it detects the attempt early, makes it audible and alerts you immediately. It does not prevent every attempt, but it shortens the window in which someone can work undisturbed – and that window usually decides between success and retreat.
If your windows and doors are still unsecured, it makes sense to start with the mechanics, because they provide the resistance that slows every break-in down. Alarm technology builds on that by detecting and reporting the forced-entry attempt. In practice, though, you do not have to choose: both layers complement each other, and an honest on-site assessment shows where your money has the greatest effect first.
Yes, because burglars avoid risk and look for the quick, quiet target. Visible and audible security technology signals that an attempt will be noticed and will cost time. If the forced entry is already detected and reported at the window, the risk to the intruder rises noticeably. No technology is a guarantee, but deterrence is measurably effective – many offenders give up as soon as they meet resistance.
Yes. Mechanical retrofitting on windows and doors is almost always possible, as is electronic protection. Our SchutzAktiv Exklusiv alarm panel works wirelessly and is installed without pulling cables, drilling or chiselling – ideal for occupied houses and apartments. This means burglary protection can be retrofitted cleanly even in existing buildings, without renovation and without days of construction work in your own home.
There is no flat-rate price, because the size of the property, the number of access points and the desired configuration determine the effort involved. A small apartment is secured differently from a detached house or a commercial building. That is why we offer a free on-site assessment: we look at your building and give you a clear, transparent price – with no hidden follow-up costs and no sales pressure.
